Welcome to artforapurpose

Handmade art and crafts are a great way to personalise your home and garden and find a special gift for friends and family.

At Art for a Purpose I aim to apply crafting and painting skills to objects that you can actually use. So no dust gatherers here! Decorated flower pots for the garden and house, fun Lazy Susans for sharing at the table and fabric gift bags are just part of the range. I also offer a wide range of handmade jewellery, from fun bracelets to smart necklaces, as well as handpainted cards and party scarves.

Many of the items are pictured on this blog, where I also talk about how they are made.
